The space
Welcome to our lakefront home. This 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom house is nestled in the heart of Broward County, a mere hop, skip, and a jump from the airport, beaches, conference center, cruise port, The HardRock, HardRock Stadium, supermarkets, and restaurants, which are within a 5-15 minute drive, or the Uber system is amazing!

The house has an open plan living room/kitchen/Dinning room plan leading out onto an oversized screened patio that has a view to die for. The kitchen is stocked with the basic cooking supplies, Keurig coffee machine, toaster fridge, freezer, stove, oven and microwave.

In the bedrooms you'll find two bedrooms with queen-sized beds and one bedroom with two twin beds.

A Pack n Play crib and high chair are available upon request.

In the living room you will find a 43” tv, sofa sectional.
This Lake House suits everyone from those in town on business, those departing or returning from a cruise, and families enjoying the city. We are not a party house and can not cater events or large parties and we please ask you respect the lovely neighbors and keep noise reasonable to respect the City’s mandated quiet period between 10pm and 7am. We are a licensed short-term vacation rental business with the State of Florida.

**Please note there are external security cameras.

The entire space is included in this rental. Please make yourself at home.

Other things to note
Please please remember that you are staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the property with respect. If any problem arises, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site, and we do not provide service between 10pm and 8am. Also, parking is limited to two cars
 
Note: Receiving mail or packages is prohibited, and we are not responsible for items that are mailed or shipped to the property.

** We are pet friendly, and there's an extra cleaning fee of $50 per pet. 

**Max occupancy at all times is 7. No visitors are allowed, all guests must be registered.

**Some regular maintenance services are required to keep our homes in excellent shape. Be informed that we have regular landscaping service and pest control management that may come during your stay.

We use an integrated software that will give you access to our Guest Portal at Dream Vacations And Rental. It will send you messages with instructions and guidance through a screening process and contract, which are required to release check-in instructions.

We recommend that you have a car or use Uber.

Same-day bookings will require at least 4 hours to process your reservation.

In order to ensure a worry-free stay. We have two options. One is a $500 refundable deposit or $49 non-refundable damage waiver. The deposit will be returned if no damages or violations (such as smoking) are found during your stay, and the waiver will cover damages up to $500.00 of accidental damages. 

Please remember that you are staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the property with respect. If any problem arises, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site, and we do not provide service between 10 pm and 8 am. Also, parking is limited to two cars

*The $49 waiver does not apply to same-day bookings, 1-night reservations, local guests, and reservations of more than 28 nights.

The area at waters edge is dangerous with broken concrete from renovations and the ground is very uneven. 
A LARGE bush dominates 70% of the shoreline limiting fishing access to the lake.
More regulations/restrictions/deposit than i am used to from an individual host. Less of a personal feel to the transaction.

There is a 3rd party website you have to go to & be verified & then they ask you to pay a security deposit separate from the Airbnb site. There is a decible meter on the ceiling in the living room that was either set way too sensitive or was malfunctioning. I got texts & phone calls both while we were sleeping & also once just sitting on the couch watching TV that said the cops would be called if our “noise” continued. Also be prepared to wear shoes the entire time because your feet will be black on the bottom if not. There were bugs, but we did get a message that the pest control was coming so they’re at least aware & trying to fix it, although I didn’t much care for them coming into the house when we weren’t there.
